SOCIAL MEDIA

While reporting for the University Star, I covered many games and events with live tweets, incorporating videos, effects, and engaging, succinct text to keep fans up to date. I even created a separate Twitter account as a sports editor and used it to promote our content and spread Texas State news.

From March of 2019 to February of 2020, I attended several Texas State athletic events and live tweeted, using various media forms to promote and update Bobcat fans. I also promoted most of the University Star's sports articles on my sports editor Twitter account and tweeted/retweeted upcoming/current sports news to make my account a news outlet for all things Texas State sports.
